My personal Bjj Journey.

I started my personal journey into marital arts back in 2011 just before my son was born. I first started a beginners Muay Thai class, as at the time i had no clue how to stand, let alone how to throw a jab.

After the first year of training I got the inch to move over to MMA and expand my skills on the ground game and take downs. I really wanted to learn more Jiu Jitsu but unfortunately my gym didn’t offer Jiu Jitsu classes so i found a new one that did.

I was lucky enough to find a gym pretty close that Jeremy Ta Kody was teaching at. For the next few years I did more MMA than Jiu Jitsu classes and like most white belts I thought i was getting pretty good haha until..... I got ragged dolled by a beginner granted he was 3 times my sizes, but that was the moment I decided to dedicate myself to understanding and learning Jiu Jitsu.

I took training seriously and received my brown belt in Jiu Jitsu from Jeremy Ta Kody and now train under long time friend and coach Clint Harris at Team Norton Saxon
